Legendary singer songwriter Charlie Dore heads out on the road again in March.
Charlie Dore cheerfully admits she still has the touring habit – in spades – as she continues her Spring Tour throughout March, taking in venues in both the North and South of England.
The tour will feature some of Dore’s best-known songs and some chosen by her audiences. Julian and Charlie have re-discovered songs that have matured well, although some were hidden on B-Sides or even left in demo form. Plus they’re including a Paul Simon Cover. The night always ends with an acoustic version of her hit Pilot Of The Airwaves.

The tour sees the celebrated hit-writer for Tina Turner, Celine Dion, George Harrison, Lisa Stansfield and Jimmy Nail perform songs from her own impressive and widely acclaimed back-catalogue. With a career spanning 10 genre-defying albums, Dore has established herself as a hugely respected performer, songwriter and producer. Charlie will be performing with multi-instrumentalist co-pilot Julian Littman of Steeleye Span.
Two gigs into the tour, Julian and Charlie re-discovered songs that matured well, even though some were hidden on B Sides or even left in demo form.
Charlie says: “It’s been a fascinating ride so far! Every gig, including the setlist is different by design and that’s what our audiences tell us they like. It keeps us fresh. I’m not giving away the set list but safe to say you’re likely to hear something from each of my album releases, and even a cover of a Paul Simon song – a first for us!”
