Upbeat, indie-rock from Louis Tomlinson on latest single, Lemonade
Release date: 30th September 2025
Format: Digital
Label: BMG
Lemonade is the lead single on Louis third studio album ‘How Did I Get Here? and fans are beyond obsessed. Combining his pop-heritage and love for indie-rock music, he’s starting this album as he means to go on. His successful festival run earlier this year moved him into the spotlight for new music and possibly a new album – which he has delivered.
‘Lemonade’ has a psychedelic, hazy feeling that he hopes to reciprocate throughout the whole album. With gritty electric guitar and electronic synthesiser, it’s a match made in heaven for Louis fans. His latest track talks about the desperation to be with this women describing her as “bittersweet” and implying a little bit of her attention would do him just fine “A little taste is all I need”. His vocals are rough and gritty which ties into his signature sound even though he’s attempting a new indie-rock sound.
The track had its first play on the Radio 1 New Music Show with Jack Saunders, allowing fans to tune in from all over the globe. As well as this, Tomlinson is due to perform at his own festival the ‘Away From Home Festival’ which is taking place in New York at the end of this week (at the time of writing) – we can definitely expect him to perform this new track.
How Did We Get Here?
2026 holds a lot for Louis due to his album release ‘How Did I Get Here?’ accompanied by a North America and European tour. I highly recommend getting tickets for this tour as it’s going to be something you won’t want to miss.
