Incineration Festival 2026: Preview

We look ahead to a full on day of full on Metal at the 2026 Incineration Festival – it’s all happening at The Roundhouse, Camden Town, London – Saturday 2nd May, 2026

KEEPING THE TRADITION

As has become tradition on the first Saturday in May, Camden Town will be overrun by a black clad horde sporting indecipherable logos in honour of the immense Incineration Festival. As with previous years, the festival will bring an enviable bill of some of the best that the extreme music underground has to offer. These will be performing across several venues in the area ranging from the intimate confines of The Dev and The Black Heart to The Underworld and The Electric Ballroom, as well as the bigger Roundhouse venue.

Just about every extreme subgenre is represented on the eclectic international bill, perhaps with death metal leading the charge this year with less well known bands such as Beyond Extinction, Vacuous and Of Feather and Bone rubbing shoulders with big hitters such as Vomitory, Hypocrisy and Grave who are lined up to deliver an “Old School Corpse and Grave set”.

Aggressive Perfector will perform at The Dev, bringing some speed/thrash metal to the day while those craving some black metal will be well catered for with the likes of Denmark’s Afsky and Germany’s Der Weg Einer Freiheit, while Norway’s Vreid will bring a different slant to black metal with their distinctive Sognametal.

DRAW OF THE DAY

If this wasn’t enough, the main draw of the day will surely be Blood Fire Death  who will be headlining the Roundhouse. This will be a tribute to Quorthon and the music of Bathory performed by a veritable who’s who of black metal including Erik Danielsson (Watain), Ivar Bjørnson (Enslaved), Blasphemer (Vltimas, ex-Mayhem), Apollyon (Aura Noir), Faust (Djevel, ex-Emperor), Grutle (Enslaved), Gaahl (Trelldom, ex-Gorgoroth) and Frederick Melander (ex-Bathory). This set will be something truly special and will no doubt be remembered for many years to come.

Limited tickets are still available at: https://incinerationfest.com/tickets/ so don’t delay – you don’t want to miss this one.
