Dust Radio – Dead Man’s Crawl: Video Premiere

Dust Radio release their new video in anticipation of their forthcoming debut EP; Shotgun Shack. This blues duo will blow you away.

Dust Radio are comprised of Vocalist/Harmonica player Paddy Wells and Guitarist Tom Jackson. Jackson spent his youth listening to cassettes of Muddy Waters and Elmore James. Wells was inspired by the likes of Sonny Boy Williamson and Paul Butterfield, honing his craft around the French Quarter of New Orleans in recent years. Both musicians have developed a deep understanding of the blues by immersing themselves in the music.

The duo formed during the lockdown of 2020. They made contact through an advertisement for blues musicians in the Stockport area. With live music on hold, they immediately got to work on their debut EP. Shotgun Shack, the five track EP, is a melting pot of the band’s musical influences and gives a compelling insight into their forthcoming debut album.

Dust Radio are heavily shaped by the blues masters of the past; their style is steeped in the sound of Southern blues, with traces of Americana and contemporary rock ‘n’ roll. The EP will be released by Lunaria Records on Friday May 28th. The first single Dead Man’s Crawl is out today and it is our pleasure to present the video premiere for the single.
