The latest in a series of live albums that over the past decade, have offered superb souvenirs of Steve Hackett interpreting various stages of the classic period Genesis catalogue.

Foxtrot at Fifty + Hackett Highlights: Live in Brighton is set for a 15th September release via the prog Rock & Metal haven of Inside Out Music.

We reported back from both Manchester and Liverpool on this tour which featured outstanding performances of the whole Foxtrot album.

The chase cuts to Brighton for a recording from the lengthy tour of the UK in 2022. This release documents Steve and his band celebrating the 50th anniversary of the much-loved Genesis album Foxtrot. Played in full, this album features fan favourites including Watcher Of The Skies and ‘Supper’s Ready and a first time appearance in the Genesis Revisited era of Time Table. The show also features a set of Hackett solo material, including The Devil’s Cathedral from his latest studio album Surrender of Silence and the powerful Ace of Wands from his 1975 debut, Voyage Of The Acolyte which opened the show.

Steve Hackett is joined live by his regular and trusty live band of Roger King, Rob Townsend, Nad Sylvan, Craig Blundell & Jonas Reingold, as well as on occasion special guest Amanda Lehmann.
