New single from Messrs Messer & Jankel – we have a premiere of the video…

Blues/Roots innovator and slide master Michael Messer joins forces with the man forever immortalised as a former Blockhead.

Mostly We Drive sees the duo loping along, nursed by guitars which evoke images of both cowboy trails and Hawaiian hulas – “One day we die, the rest we’re alive/Some days we walk, mostly we drive.” When the cops pull the narrator over, he ponders – “Will they want my driver’s licence or my genetic code.”
