The Edinburgh-based roots-rock band release their third album, Double Measures, on 8th November 2024. Ahead of the release comes the new single, Johnny Knows The Roads. A West Coast breeziness runs through Johnny Knows The Roads (the road warrior John Bruce celebrated in the title and subject matter).

Featuring founder member of the legendary Scottish blues band Blues ‘n’ Trouble, John Bruce on guitar, with a guest
appearance from rising Welsh guitarist, James Oliver, the single was given a world premiere recently on Cerys Matthews’ BBC Radio 2 Blues Show.

Johnny Knows The Roads is a light hearted song about the ability of the band’s guitar player, Johnny, to dodge and outsmart the relentlessly frustrating, ever changing, Edinburgh traffic and roadworks! For most, “Auld Reekie knows how to test your soul.”

The band launch the album at The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh on 17th October 17th, 2024.
