Steve Hackett announces his UK touring plans for 2026.

Two years on from the last UK revisit to the classic Genesis music which Steve Hackett has been touring since 2013, the next round has been announced. Having covered pretty much all the bases he touched with his guitar in the early days of Genesis, the tour comes with the title: Best of Genesis & Solo Gems.
Hackett is also excited to introduce two new members to his band: Swedish keyboard wizard Lalle Larsson, who replaces longtime associate Roger King, along with Felix Lehrmann, the German drummer taking over from Craig Blundell.
I’ve never worked with Lalle Larsson before but heโs completely brilliant and more than qualified for the job involving recreating Genesis circa 1971 to โ77. Heโs a total virtuoso. Weโve already been working with Felix Lehrmann and listening to him with Jonas Reingold on bass is like a thousand iron girders coming at you at 100mph!โย
Larsson and Lehrmann will take their places in Hackettโs touring band alongside Jonas Reingold (bass, backing vocals), Nad Sylvan (vocals) and Rob Townsend (saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards). โI have some extraordinary performers in the band,โ says, Hackett adding โIโm very happy with this level of virtuosos. These guys are all incredible professionals.โย
