Kneecap bring their own kind of storm to Liverpool. They deliver an intense, high voltage show full of the bluster we’ve come to expect.

STORMY SATURDAY
The height of Storm Claudia may have passed, but the storm definitely hadn’t in Liverpool. As Northern Irish three-piece Kneecap hit the stage, they brought a thunder that could’ve been heard all the way to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium in the near distance.
From the jump, 3CAG makes it obvious there’s a real connection between Kneecap and Liverpool. The crowd, mixed ages, draped in Irish colours, and supping Guinness like it was a team sport, was fully locked in. The e-vending Guinness station in the fan zone outside was a brilliant touch: smooth, quick, and surprisingly well-organised for a night this chaotic.
The trio swung straight into It’s Been Ages and Amach Anocht, sending the room bouncing and opening pits at will. Fenian Cunts only pushed things further, with Kneecap staying sharp, loud, and completely dialled in.
CONTROLLED DETONATIONS
Across Better Way to Live, Sick in the Head, and Your Sniffer Dogs Are Shite, they showed exactly why their shows feel like controlled detonations, humour, menace, rave energy, and political bite all landing on beat. “No Comment” arrived like a warehouse-wide roar.
New track Sayōnara, their collab with Orbital‘s Paul Hartnoll, was a mid-set highlight: sleek, pulsing, and clearly built for rooms like this. I’m Flush, I bhFiacha Linne, and Fine Art kept the pace relentless, while Rhino Ket spins the crowd into a frenzy. Get Your Brits Out, C.E.A.R.T.A, and Parful push the energy into overdrive.
And the ending? Perfect. H.O.O.D and THE RECAP closed the night with absolute precision, two standout tracks that hit with the weight of a finale and the fire of an encore. The ideal full-stop to a night already running on pure voltage.

MISS KANINNA
Australian singer-songwriter Miss Kaninna opened with a fierce, genre-blending set. Having supported Kneecap on their Australian tour, she felt like a natural fit, confident, connected, and perfectly in sync with the atmosphere and feeling of the evening.

BLACKSTONE STREET WAREHOUSE
And the venue? Blackstone Street Warehouse absolutely delivered. A clear level above Victoria Warehouse and Depot Mayfield, it deserves far more nights of this scale. It’s well-run, well-orchestrated, and purpose-built for events that go off like this one.
A storm may have passed over Liverpool, but the one inside Blackstone was louder, wilder, and unforgettable. Kneecap didn’t just play, they tore through the city like a weather warning you’d happily get caught in.
