Personal Trainer – Band On The Wall, Manchester – 22nd October 2026

WAITING ON THE WEEKEND
There are some gigs that come up exactly when you need them. It was one of those days where everything seems to pile up and you are wishing for the weekend to come quicker, even though you are still a couple of days out. Walking into the venue you could tell the room was quickly filling up, some people who have come straight from work or people who came with friends and family. But no matter where they came from everyone here were all excited for the same thing and you could feel the anticipation building amongst the crowd.
From the moment Personal Trainer took to the stage, the energy in the room was impossible to ignore. The energy from their music powered the whole room, making us forget anything outside of the room we are in. The music felt infectious and jolly and you could not help but sway in tune to the music. Thatโs the beautiful thing with a band like this. The stage was full of different instruments and each song and new ones swapped in and out. Each song felt unique next to one another, with different sounds and different beats and it all comes together so beautifully.
PERFECT SETTING
Band On The Wall was the perfecting setting for a show like this. The venue is intimate and allows you to feel close and connected to the band in front. Many people in the audience were dancing from the first song, you could see people giving their all to the band and the band was doing the same. It was amazing to see the energy continuing throughout the whole night and not dipping once.
What stood out throughout the night was the chemistry the band had with one another. The seven on them on stage looked so close with one another, you could see them interacting and joking with one another on stage, giving each other funny looks when someone misses a beat. They kept the energy alive throughout the whole show never allowing the energy to dip once, not even between the songs. Itโs nice to see a band like that on stage, you can tell the passion they put into their craft but you can feel the love and admiration they have for one another.
When walking through the venue you could see the crowd was fully soaking in the energy and mirroring the bands energy. As the set progressed more people could be seen dancing and singing and not having a single care in the world. For an hour or so, nothing else mattered other then the music in this room.
TONE CHANGING
Personal Trainer delivered the kind of show that make you leave feeling lighter than when you arrived. The energy in that room was uplifting and impossible to not get caught in. Their Band On The Wall performance was a welcome reminder that a great gig like that can really change the tone of your whole day.
