The War On Drugs to begin UK tour: News

The War On Drugs begin their jaunt around the UK in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore.

The War On Drugs released I Don’t Live Here Anymore in 2021 to critical acclaim. The album was their second on Atlantic Records; their fifth in total. We thought it was another fine addition to their wonderful catalogue (our review here), and the tour promises to be a brilliant showcase for the latest album.

Previous tours have seen the band deliver stunning shows full of great songs delivered with passion and fervour. If you are in doubt, you can check out The War On Drugs live LP, Live Drugs, which was released in 2020. The set is a collection of live recordings sequenced to replicate a 70-minute set, bringing deep joy to the listener.

The War On Drugs’ 2022 tour takes the band to some of the largest venues they’ve ever played, including their first headlining show at Madison Square Garden, as well as Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and the Ryman Auditoriumin Nashville. The tour reaches the UK this week for a handful of dates including a performance at London’s O2 Arena and the First Direct Arena in Leeds. The full itinerary can be found on the band’s website here
