New single from accidental hero George Marios in a tease for his forthcoming album.

The anthemic rock artist from Kavala – a small city in Greece – but based in London for the last 13 years, George Marios returns to the barrier with a new single and a video that marks his directorial debut.

His music is a unique blend of anthemic rock, infused with influences from orchestral soundtrack music, alternative rock and beyond. George has also appeared on two live albums for alt rock royalty, The Pineapple Thief playing lead guitar on Hold Our Fire & Nothing But The Truth.

George’s acclaimed debut record Daffodil from 2020 was followed by the Retold EP two years later. He is currently gearing up for the release of his follow up record, Accidental Hero, planned for the summer of 2025.

Your Heart is the first single of the album. An empowering anthem for the ones who take risks in order to carve their own path. A powerful piece that swings from self-reflective verses where he muses on the need to take risks to create our own destiny (“God help me from all the things I tell myself“) to a stinging guitar driven chorus while treating himself to a particularly potent solo.

“Your Heart describes a time in my life, where I found myself at an incredibly difficult crossroads,” says George. “It documents the painful journey of a man trying to find his courage in order to follow his true calling, even if that comes at a heavy price.”

The song is accompanied by a music video, directed by George and shot at the iconic Chatham Dockyard (Les Miserables/Downtown Abbey).
