Damnation Festival 2025 was already shaping up to be something incredible; and now, we have official headliners.

HEADLINERS

Just look at that poster…it is a thing of beauty. Seeing Corrosion of Conformity and Napalm Death on top is a glorious sight. The calibre of band on show is of the highest quality; Damnation Festival 2025 is destined to be one of the greatest ever.

Corrosion of Conformity blend sludge metal, hardcore punk, and Southern rock masterfully. Emerging from the 1980s hardcore scene, they evolved into a heavy, groove-driven force with albums like Deliverance and Wiseblood. Their raw energy and musical versatility set them apart. With an ability to reinvent themselves without compromising authenticity, they have earned respect across metal and punk communities. Their appearance at Damnation Festival 2025 is a European exclusive, too!

Napalm Death are pioneers of extreme music. A blistering fusion of punk, death metal, and noise came together to be called grindcore. Known for their ferocious speed and politically charged lyrics, they continually push sonic and lyrical boundaries. Albums like Scum and From Enslavement to Obliteration are the stuff of legend.

Both these bands are worthy headliners for such a brilliant festival.

MORE CLASS ACTS

To bring home the celebratory element of Damnation Festival 2025, the organisers have brought back some previous turns. Monolithic Belgian post rockers, Amenra return after their blistering 2023 performance. The raw emotion and immersion they offer is unparalleled and their masses offer a catharsis rarely seen in music.

Further down the bill, Ted Maul are reuniting for a one off show. It was 2007 since they last played Damnation Festival. They, like Stampin’ Ground, have been persuaded to join the frivolity of 2025’s event.

Another addition is that of Brooklyn’s theatrical doom act, Castle Rat. They blend heavy riffs with fantasy-inspired, horror-infused stage performances and elaborate costumes. It will be a performance not to be missed.

As the poster shows, Damnation Festival 2025 is shaping up to be an event that will go down in the annals of history. With twelve bands still to be announced, there is yet more to come from the organisers. What is really crucial, is that at this moment, the festival is selling very quickly.
