Spawned in 2025 in the shadows of Budweis, Czechia’s Temora vomit forth a rotten blend of old-school death and decaying new wave filth.

TEMORA
It’s always great when a band arrives looking fully formed and just in need of refinement. In the case of Temora, you could argue it’s like they’ve been held back in detention. Having only been knocking around for under a year, the title Demo is something of a misnomer. This is some phenomenally accomplished shit.
Beholden in no small way to a stack of OSDM conventions, as well as a dominant fondness for a pinch harmonic, this debut release does more than enough to convince of an extremely promising future.
Opener Koroze channels Manor of Infinite Forms-era Tomb Mold via some vastly superior production; Anstralni vize slides in a suspiciously subdued intro prior to some particularly smelly Death-esque riffage and all-too-brief solo run, and Znesveceni slunce drops some extremely old-school sampling before a weighty crescendo to end the EP proper.
TROLLMOR
However, centrepiece Trollmor is where is all truly kicks off. A cloud of squalling feedback, sparingly used blast beats and a surfeit of enthusiasm laid over a monstrous groove replete with bell shots and a belting solo. It is highly impressive material and sets the benchmark moving forwards, as well as making significant in-roads into establishing their own identity.
This is sixteen minutes well worth sparing. If they live up to even a fraction of the potential shown, Temora are going to be big.
