Cianโ€™s Victory UK tour headed to Southamptonโ€™s O2 Guildhall, a sold out show with a capacity of almost 2000. Earlier in 2023 I was also lucky enough to catch his set at Portsmouthโ€™s Victorious Festival. Would there be a repeat of that brilliant night?

In short? Yes.

When Cian’s album, Victory, was released in August, it was no surprise to see it being lauded in many quarters. We were in those quarters as it is a record that is destined to make Cian Ducrot a star (our review here).

Cian Ducrot’s show in Southampton showcased a vibrant tapestry of heartfelt melodies and a magnetic stage presence. His soulful voice echoed through the beautiful venue of the Guildhall, creating an intimate connection with each member of the audience.

Each song tells a story. These stories are filled with raw emotion and lyrical genius. In particular, the performance of “Everyone Who Falls In Love (Has Someone Else Theyโ€™re Thinking Of)โ€ is a true testament to his musical prowess. The performance was accompanied by vibrant red lighting and riveting guitar playing.

The energy from both Ducrot and his band on stage and the audience was infectious, transforming an ordinary concert into an unforgettable experience. Cian didn’t just play music, he painted pictures with his words and melodies, making us all a part of his artistic narrative. Truly, a night to remember!

It is clear that Cian Ducrot is going to be around for a long time. With Victory in the books, it will be exciting to see where he goes next. Wherever it leads, we cannot wait.

Check out Cian performing I’ll Be Waiting at Hits Live in 2023.
