Warrington based quintet, Parlours, set to release their first single of 2025.

PARLOURS
Parlours are a band from Warrington with Tom Gaskell on vocals, Tom Jones on bass and backing vocals, Kane Partington on guitar, Jack Swanwick on guitar, and Joe Dursley on Drums. Before being in a band they were schoolmates and the name Parlours originated in Liverpool where Jack and Kane worked/lived above the bar formerly known as Parlour.
Their new single is called Paradox, delving into the contradiction you can feel within yourself about who you are and where you’re heading. It was recorded in Allo Sound, Widnes, and produced by Jono Tringham.
PARADOX
Having released several singles over the course of the last couple of years, Parlours clearly have a great talent. Paradox follows Life On Standby and is a brilliant upbeat song that bristles with energy.
With its fast pace and infectious sound, Paradox will blow you away. The guitars are dense, the drums are pounding and the vocals have a gritty snarl. When the ‘Come as you are’ refrain hits, you will find yourself getting attacked by an earworm that’ll roll around your mind for a while.
If you are a fan of early Verve, Oasis etc then this will tick all the boxes for you. Similarly, other young bands like Pastel could be cited as a reference point.
